Heavy - Lauri Ylönen
Hoy les traigo un tema muy lindo, el primero que lanzo Lauri Ylönen como solista y fue presentado en los EMMA Gaala el 26 de febrero del 2011.
Lauri lanzo su carrera como solista porque quería probar un estilo nuevo que no encajaba con el de la banda y así poder lanzar esas canciones que ha escrito antes sin tener que obligar a los chicos de The Rasmus a algo diferente.
Así fue como nació la letra de Heavy: Lauri relara lo siguiente en una entrevista. Escribí mientras estaba visitando a Pauli ( The Rasmus) en Singapure. La canción esta basada en una interesante conversación que tuve con un taxista local una noche. Estábamos hablando lo que significa tener libertad de expresión. El me contó la historia de un pájaro encerrado en una jaula de oro, donde todas las bellezas y las maravillas de la vida han sido puestas en frente de el pero la única cosa que el realmente quería es la libertad. El me pidió que escribiera una canción sobre esto, entonces volví al hotel y lo hice esa noche. Realmente espero que el pueda escuchar esta canción algún día.
El vídeo de Heavy ha sido rodado en diciembre y fue dirigido por Owe Lingvall y fue estrenado el 25 de febrero del 2011 y el disco salió a la venta en Finlandia el 30 de marzo 2011.
